About this item
One-piece skull with high roped comb; riveted plume holder on the rear immediately
beneath the comb. Lower bevor with button-activated locking spring catch and hinged
visor support peg. Associated upper visor with narrow horizontal eye slits. Associated
lower visor with punched ventilation holes in a circular rosette pattern. Upper and lower
visor connected with a single bolt; later pivot hinge. Old but not original padded quilted
liner on skull and lower bevor (mildly soiled with tears and separated seams). Shows
lamination and hand forging with minor separations. Minor damage and repairs.
