    An original WW2 Civil Defence embroidered cap badge in good condition. 

    This pattern of badge was introduced in 1943 to replace the metal ARP badge previously worn on the beret. Embroidered versions such as this were not actually official use but they did see widespread use. 

    A nice original wartime badge in good condition.
