Extremely rare and original c.1900’s African Tiv People’s of Nigeria brass and iron Parade Axe – used for ceremonial occasions within tribes. Carried by persons of high status and authority. With heavy brass human head pommel and iron axe blade emanating from its mouth. Brass bound iron shaft.
