Unit marked "5.N.N." to the pommel denoting issue to the 5th Northamptonshire Regiment.
Matching number on the pommel and scabbard throat.
This example produced by Wilkinson, dated 1918. Pommel catch working but stiff.
Housed in the standard leather scabbard with steel mounts.
A good untouched bayonet in need of gentle cleaning, but should improve well. The muzzle ring has recieved a slight blow, and is marginally out of alignment. Doesn't effect display, and could be corrected if desired.
