About this item
A lovely untouched Imperial German S98 1st Model Bayonet.
This example has the one piece grip. It is produced by Erfurt and dated 1901.
Regimental marking to the crossguard. Clean blade, with some old pitting/staining.
I can't see any regimental markings on the scabbard, but don't wish to compromise the original leather frog.
Housed in its original steel mounted leather scabbard with some fold marks, and complete with original frog.
