Here is a British 1907 SMLE sword bayonet, this is the bayonet used on the iconic Short Magazine Lee Enfield d.uring the first world war and beyond. Measuring at a length of 17 inchs the 1907 gave the WW1 "Tommy" the reach to match his German counterpart armed with the longer G98 rifle.
This particular bayonet was manufactured by "Sanderson" and is dated 1916, Both Scabbard and blade are in great condition.
