About this item
A lovely example of the K98 bayonet, maker coded ’44 CRS ’ Paul Weyersberg & Co, Serial number ‘8471’ to the upper blade. Scabbard marked 1401. Acceptance stamps. Waffen Amt stamps to the upper part of the pommel, which also retains all of its blued finish. The rifle retaining button system working correctly. Wooden grips are undamaged. Fitted with its original leather frog, which has all good strong stitching, Marked E.O. Götze & Sohn 1942
