A scarce Mk I Three Rivet bayonet, for the Lee Metford rifle.
This example has the benefit of being unit marked "3. RGA" to the pommel, for the 3rd Royal Garrison Artillery.
A used and carried example, with signs of sharpening, and some light pitting towards the tip.
A plethora of date and other marks at the ricasso, showing a long service life.
Housed in a very good, and correct steel mounted leather scabbard.
