About this item
An NSBO (National-Socialistiche Betreibs Organisation) Belt Buckle
This is the final and seldom recorded pattern buckle dating from approximately 1933-1934 with the single oak leaf wreath.
Slightly convex, stamped brass, two-piece construction plain field with a circular face plate featuring an embossed NSBO cog with a hammer and swastika clenched in a fist.
The plate is attached by two soldered spots, visible to the reverse. Also to the reverse is the buckle catch, and a prong bar with dual prongs, for the belt’s retaining tongue.
Accompanying the Buckle is an excellent and hardly used belt, stamped 76 and with very good RZM markings.
Overall, both Belt and Buckle are in very good condition.
