About this item
(HJ Koppelschloss). A very good early example constructed in polished nickel silver, the obverse with a standard HJ motif consisting of an eagle in the centre perched atop a HJ diamond that is surrounded by a serrated circular border with an inner and outer rope, and the HJ motto “Blut und Ehre†(German - Blood and Honour). Very good condition.
The reverse has a standard soldered catch and a double-prong bar. Marked with the logo of Assmann, “A&Sâ€, “RZM (single ring) 17†and “Ges. Gesch.†on the reverse; measuring 62 mm (w) x 47 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.
The leather Belt is later than the buckle and remains in very good supple condition with stampings which are no longer discernible. Slight surface rust to the steel closure catch.
