    An original British Red Cross Society Armband dating from the Second World War.

    This armband was issued to a member of the Cheshire section of the Red Cross Society Women's Voluntary Aid Detachment during WW2. It features the embroidered VAD badge to the front and to the rear is a small label which reads 'Cheshire 20 9992 B.R.C.S'.

    The armband is in good condition with only limited signs of wear and age.
