About this item
An original pair of 1952 dated Royal Ordnance Factory Workers Black leather boots in un-issued condition.
This pattern of boots was used during the Second World War in munitions factories across Great Britain and were specifically designed to have no metal anywhere in their construction. They feature a leather sole and leather uppers but no metal eyelets, cleats or similar. The heels are held on with wooden pegs which can be seen in the pictures.
This particular pair were made’ in 1952 but are identical to wartime manufacture and come with a set of original leather laces already fitted. The 1952 date and makers stamp is inside the boot onto the insole whilst the sole of the shoe bares the size which in the case is 5M.
The boots are in fantastic new old stock condition and have clearly never been worn. There is no wear to the soles and they have clearly been stored for their entire life. They display very well indeed but it is important to remember that this is a pair of vintage shoes which may have issues consummate with age.
All in all a nice pair of original WW2 pattern boots in great condition.
