An original World War One British War Medal, correctly named as follows;

9798 CPL. H. MC DONNELL. WORC. R.

Harold McDonnell was entitled to a pair. It does not state so on the MIC, but CWGC notes he 'died' on 23 March 1918. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial. Harold lived at 43 Albert Road, Kidderminster.
