About this item
An original World War One Victory Medal, correctly named as follows;
5044 PTE. A. G. YORKE. SEAFORTH.
Arthur Yorke was entitled to a pair and also served under s/n 201951. It is not stated on the MIC but CWGC shows he was killed in action on 31 October 1917 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion. He is buried at Windmill British Cemetery, Monchy-le-Preux.
