    A good example attributed to Sapper Wilson Thomas Hutton who served with the 572 Devon Works Co. RE. The badge retains pin fitting and is stamped with the number 265621.

    40418 Sapper Wilson Thomas Hutton enlisted on the 19th August 1914. He landed in France on the 21st May 1915. He was discharged with the award of the silver War Badge on the 24th October 1917. His unit is confirmed on the SWB Roll.
