

Original Pair of WW2 Royal Artillery Cloth Shoulder Titles

An original matched pair of Second World War Royal Artillery cloth shoulder badges.
This style of badge is often referred to as 'slip on' by collectors and is made up of a piece of khaki serge with the letters 'RA' embroidered in black to the front.
The rear features a single loop so it can be worn on the epaulette of the Battledress blouse.
This pattern of shoulder titles was prevalent at the beginning of the war before the standard coloured shoulder titles were introduced from 1942. This pattern was worn in France in 1940 as well as in the Western Desert.
