    About this item

A fine example of The Swiss Army field phone, Central Telephon (C-Tf) which was first introduced in 1913 .

I believe this is an early example from 1913, designed and built by Siemens & Halske, Berlin.

All in all there were about 1500 pieces of the C-Tf produced and it remained in service until some time during WW2.

Overall condition is very good. The case is oak and without damage or woodworm. All internal workings appear present, including the Siemens British made batteries. Handset and lead are also very good.

A very heavy and interesting piece.
