Scarce R.A.F /Airborne & Special Forces Night Use Binoculars

An good example of this scarce pattern. These compact  binoculars were introduced during WWII for issue to Airborne troops. This set bears the correct stores reference on the forward bridge V.F.2506. The optics are clear but there is some damage to one Bakelite eye cup . A set is shown being worn by Major General Browning on page 203 of Davis. "British Army Uniforms & Insignia of WWII ".
