    A BRONZE CAP BADGE AND COLLECTION OF SIX  BUTTONS (TWO APPROX 22mm, FOUR APPROX 16mm MAKER MARKED FIMIN LONDON) FOR THE CEYLON PLANTERS RIFLE CORPS. A VOLUNTEER CORPS MADE UP OF EUROPEAN TEA AND RUBBER PLANTERS IN CEYLON. THEY SAW ACTION IN THE BOER WAR AND WWI. ALSO COMMISSIONED OFFICERS FOR THE BRITISH AND INDIAN ARMY IN WWII AND PROTECTED THE CEYLON HOME FRONT. DISBANDED IN 1949.
