WW1 1918 Silver Machine Gun Corps Cap & Collar Badges.
A superb matching set as worn. The Cap badge with a London silver hallmark for Birmingham 1918, made by Bent & Parker and retailed through Goldsmith & Silversmith Company London. The reverse with the scarce fittings of three blades each with a silver Lion stamp.
The pair of collar badges each with two loops and bearing silver hallmarks for London 1918 and again retailed through the Goldsmith & Silversmith Company London.
VGC. An outstanding matching silver set.
Provenance worn by Second Lieutenant Frank Algar Machine Gun Corps, previously served in the ranks of the Devonshire Regiment commissioned into the Machine Gun Corps 1918.
