About this item
An October 1940 dated Luftwaffe Oxygen Regulator as used in the JU88, Do17, He111 and numerous other aircraft.
Although no doubt taken from a downed aircraft the entire piece is in very good condition, the only point of note being one missing section of Perspex inspection window which allows the user to check the inflation of the rubber bag.
Still mounted on it’s side wall fitting plate it appears complete with only the oxygen inlet and outlet tubes removed. The Oxygen flow gauge (FL 30534) is undamaged and the flow control valves operates perfectly.
The data plate is clear and shows a manufacturing date of October 1940 and part number FL30470.
An impressive display piece and a very rare find for the Battle of Britain or Blitz collector in particular.
