For sale is WW2 British Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve Dog Tag, Chain & Research.
The dog tag states; “Pg Fortesque, CE, SLT,E, RNVR”. Fortesque was a Lance Corporal, Sub Lieutenant, and then an officer in the Royal Navy volunteer reserve during ww2. Fortesque was enrolled for miscellaneous Duties 3rd January 1944 Fortesque served on HMS Valluru on the 6th June 1944 Fortesque was enrolled for air duties on the 17th June 1944 Fortesque was serving on HMS Ariel 11th September 1945 Fortesque was serving on HMS Dolphin from 11th September 1953 Fortesque also served on HMS Eagle from the 30th of June 1960 Fortesque also served on HMS Victory from 28th August 1961 Accompanying this medal is eight scans of his service records.
