    About this item

A very rare Army Medical Service Armband, dated 1917.

These seldom come onto the market, and this one has the added bonus of being additionally marked to the Surrey Voluntary Aid Detachment.

Condition is generally very good, without moth nips or tears, and retains its three "pearl" buttons. It does have some storage dirt, and some small areas of rust staining.

The VAD General Service badge is in very fine condition.

From the estate of the WW1 Nurse whose medals are also offered, along with her husbands.
