About this item
A rare British WW1 peaked service dress cap to an officer of the Royal Navy. Khaki body and small black peak indicates this was either an RNAS or RND officer (Royal Naval Air service or Royal Naval Division) . Complete with gilt Royal Navy Officers badge, R.N. buttons, narrow leather chin strap and leather sweatband. A few moth holes above the gilt badge. Tailors label, Monnerys London. Faint officers name. Circular quilted interior lining. Size 6 5/8.
