Machine Gunners Waistcoat of typical WW1 Pattern. Manufactured in khaki wool cloth and worn over the service dress tunic. In very good condition, some light surface scuffing to the leather otherwise has survived very well. stamp. Free from moth. With original brass general service buttons..
Worn by Machine Gunners who carried the Vickers & Lewis guns.The waistcoat protected the shoulders.
No date or label other than a faint WD War Department stamp.
