About this item
A very good example of a WW2 MK II British Indian Army Military kukri, in scabbard.
This example produced by the prolific firm of Pioneer of Calcutta. Dated 194(2?) The blade covered in old grease, and completely untouched since it was brought back from Burma by an RASC Officer (details to buyer). No serious rust, this kukri is going to be a pleasure to gently clean up.
Also carrying an official inspection marking to one of the wooden grips.
Blade length just shy of 14 inches, which is the longest I have encountered from this maker.
Housed in the correct military pattern brown leather scabbard with brass chape. Some loss to the wooden interior at the mouth, which would be easy enough to put right if desired.
Strictly over 18's only.
