A rare original boxed set of 'Sentinel' night lights made by Price's during the Second World War.
This complete set has survived over 70 years and comes complete with all of its candles, which each feature individual wrapping. The cardboard box features the words 'Temporary War-time Pack' which nicely dates them to the Second World War period. Each light is designed to burn for eight hours.
The condition of the set is good with some signs of age. There is soiling to the packaging but overall it still displays well.
Other examples can be found in the Imperial War Museum and National Trust collections.
A very nice piece of Home Front ephemera which would make a great addition to any collection.
