About this item
This is a propaganda leaflet in French marking the famous raid by Flight Lieutenant Gatward.On the 12th of June 1942 he dropped the tricolour near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, and shot up the German Navy headquarters. He flew the famous Bristol beau fighter, when himself and his navigator managed to get home for lunch, tea and medals.
