    About this item

A scarce example of the 1939 pattern emergency equipment cartridge carrier in a light brown leather.

This pattern of equipment was a stop-gap issued to second line troops and Home Guard troops so that the new 1937 web equipment could be sent to those at the front.

This example is the lighter brown shade which was manfactured and bares the crows foot WD mark inside. There is also just visible a makers mark and date but these are sadly too worn to read.

In A1 condition, this would be hard to better!
