About this item
An original RAF P2A 6D/2307 oxygen mask dating from the Cold War period.
Made from black rubber, this original jet age mask features the metal horseshoe and chain used to attach it to a helmet. It is fitted with a type 57 microphone as was used during the Second World War as well as in the post-war period. Part of the MK4 Harness is also still attached and bears the stores number of 6D/2308.
The mask is in reasonable condition for its age and displays well. There are signs of wear and age but there are no serious flaws or areas of damage.
A good example of this pattern of mask.
