WW1 Royal Flying Corps 1917 Triplex Flying Mask Goggles & Case
A very good and rare Great War period pair of soft brown leather with gilt tooled makers details. The reverse of the leather mask, retains fur edging to the tinted lenses. The metal frame is stamped AUG 1917. The leather retains a good brown finish. The goggles are contained in the original Triplex case. The leather remains supple, wear to the elasticated strap and a small split at the noise but still works well.
Display very well.
