The Garda Síochána Golden Jubilee Medal was awarded to members of the Garda Síochána (Irish Police Force) in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Police Force. The Gold Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to "Golden Jubilee 1922-1972.” Approximately 9000 were awarded.
