For sale is a WW1 British Mercantile Marine War Medal To Joseph Richardson
The WW1 British Mercantile Marine War Medal is engraved on the rim “Joseph Richardson”. Joseph Richardson was born in 1875, and unfortunately passed away before receiving his medal. This medal was issued without the ribbon to his widow in 1922. The Mercantile Marine War Medal was established in 1919 and awarded by the Board of Trade of the United Kingdom to mariners of the British Mercantile Marine (later renamed the Merchant Navy) for service at sea during the First World War. Accompanying this medal is 1 scan of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies.
