For sale is a WW1 British War Medal To Pte H L Connell Royal Scots Fusiliers. 

  This British war medal is engraved on the rim “265346 Pte H L Connell R/S Fus”.   Hardress Lloyd Connell was born in 18979 in Midlothian. His civil parish was Edinburgh St Cuthberts.   In July 1895 Hardress started his training as a medical student, it’s possible that he served in WW1 in a medical role.   Hardress served in the royal Scot’s fusiliers under the service number 265340 and he also served with the Labour corps under the service number 608728. Hardress was entitled to a British war medal and a victory medal, however unfortunately the victory medal is missing.    Accompanying this medal is 4 scans of his service records.
