For sale is a WW1 British War Medal To Pte A King Royal West Kent Regiment who was wounded on three separate occasions.
Arthur was born in northfleet, Kent. This medal is engraved on the rim “ G-12430 Pte A King R.W.Kent R”. Whilst Arthur was serving with the Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) in France Arthur was wounded on three separate occasions and entitled to wear wound stripes on his uniform. The first occasion that Arthur was wounded was on the 20th of August 1916. The second occasion Arthur was wounded was on the 20th of November 1916. And the final occasion Arthur was wounded was on the 12th of September 1918. Arthur King was awarded a British war medal, wound badge and a victory medal but unfortunately only the British war medal is present. Accompanying this medal is 4 scans of his service records.
