For sale is a WW1 Medal Bar duo Consisting of a WW1 Victory Medal & War Medal to 142038 Dvr G.E.Nurse Royal Field Artillery.George Edward Nurse was born in 1892 in Norfolk, married to Fanny Nurse, and was 24 years of age when he enlisted in 1916 where he joined the 102 Brigade royal field artillery at the rank of driver. His medal roll shows he was entitled to the ww1 war and victory medal which are in this listing mounted on a medal bar. George served at home (United Kingdom) for 1 year and 133 days from 17th of January 1916 until the 29th May 1917. He also served in France 2 Years and 99 days from 30th May 1917 until the 5th September 1919. His casualty form active service states that due to B213 granted home/ time away six times.
