    For sale is a WW1 Medal Duo & Box To Wounded Gnr R T Pike who served with the Royal Artillery, royal garrison artillery and Tank Corps. 

      Both the ww1 victory and British war medal are engraved on the rim “135196 Gnr R T Pilke RA”.   Robert Thomas Pike was born in 1878, his religious beliefs were Church of England, and his trade on enlistment was a gardener. He was married to his wife Agnes Pike, where they lived at 6 Calew Street, Camberwell in London.    Like enlisted into the British army in the 30th December 1916, aged 38 years of age. He served with the royal artillery, royal garrison artillery, and the tank corps on the eastern front.    Robert was entitled to the British war medal and a victory medal which are present however his wound stripe is missing. These medals come with their original box.    Robert was wounded whilst fighting in action on the 17th June 1918. On the 19th of October 1918 Robert was hospitalised with influenza, but returned to duty shortly after. Robert was then later discharged in the 4th of February in 1919.    Accompanying this medal is 9 scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies.
