For sale is a WW1 Victory Medal To Gnr H Halfpenny Royal Artillery & Research.This victory medal is engraved on the rim “43231 Gnr H Halfpenny RA”. Harry Halfpenny was born in 1879 and was from Coopers Hill, Alvechurch in Birmingham. Harry enlisted into the British army on the 11th October 1914 and served with the royal field artillery and the 6th D.A.P. Harry was entitled to the British war medal, victory medal and 1914-15 star along with a clasp for the 1914-15 star. Unfortunately only the victory medal is present. Harry was discharged on the 21st of February in 1919. However in his service records it looks like he may have served up until 1921 in the note section so possible discharged into the reserves. Accompanying this medal is 3 scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies.
