For sale is a WW1 Victory Medal & 1914-15 Star To Spr J Sims Royal Engineers.
The ww1 victory medal and 1914-15 star is engraved “2437 Spr J Sims RE”. James sims started at the rank of private but by the end of the war he was promoted to Lance Corporal. James was entitled to the victory medal, war medal (which is missing), 1914-15 star, and a wound stripe (which is missing). James entered the French theatre of war in the 12th of September 1915, his enlistment date is unknown. James was wounded whilst serving in France on the 5th November 1917 and therefore entitled to a wound stripe. James was discharged from the royal engineers on the 8th of March 1919. Accompanying this medal is six scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies.
