    About this item

A beautifully executed and highly detailed Museum Quality scale model of the iconic Flak 88, no doubt undertaken by a skilled engineer using steel, brass and copper in his work.

I can’t begin to imagine how many hours of work went into making this. The gun traverses using the correct wheel on the right side and elevates but here there appears to be wear to the cog which raises the barrel. The breech opens and reveals the chamber and a rifled barrel which can be recoiled against the springs. The fore and aft legs are fixed in position as they should be while the side legs can be folded up.

Attention to detail is amazing with tiny nuts bolts and rivets emulating the real thing.

The model is large, the barrel and breech measuring approximately 71 cms, the legs each about 32 cms in length and it is extremely heavy at 18kgs.

An ideal backdrop to a Flak collection or simply as a conversation piece this item is for COLLECTION ONLY from the PO8 area of Hampshire or by some other special arrangement. Please ignore the quoted shipping cost which will be refunded.
