About this item
A particularly nice US WWII Army 8th Air Force B-4 Garment Bag personised by “Frankie York – 11138993” with a nicely painted Army Air Force insignia along the top edge and 926 Signal Battalion hand painted to the reverse side.
Overall condition is very good with all zips working well but which would perhaps be further improved with the application of a little dry candle wax.
Inside, the original coat hangers remain in place.
Overall condition is very good with loss of stitching to one of the heart shaped leather patches securing the carrying handle.
926 Signal Battalion TAC, was part of the 8th Air Force and was based at Beaulieu Hampshire in summer of 1944 around D Day.
