About this item
An early 1st. pattern, "heavy" Nickel-Silver Breast Eagle For wear on the summer tunic of Luftwaffe officers.
With a wingspan of approximately 87mm and weighing 30 grams, these Tombac pin back eagles have always been a favourite of mine.
Featuring the “droop tail” eagle this example is in very good service used condition, without damage and with its silvered finish near perfect.
