About this item
An original WW2 RAF Type 360 socket as used with various flying helmets during the Second World War, complete with its original box.
This socket fits onto the standard RAF bell plug used on all wartime wiring looms fitted to the B, C, D and E - type flying helmets.
It comes complete with its original cardboard box which is in good condition for its age. It has printed onto it 'Socket Type 360 Ref No. 10H/2208' and below this the Air Ministry mark with kings crown is present.
The overall condition of the item is good and it appears to be un-issued.
A nice wartime item which would make a good collection to any RAF collection.
