About this item
An original United States Army M1943 Combat Jacket hood in good condition.
This hood was designed to be worn with the M43 combat Jacket and is made from the same OD coloured cotton sateen material. It features button holes around the edge and a drawstring which runs around the edge of the hood opening.
Inside the hood the original label is still present. It is now washed out but the M1943 designation can still just be read in the right light.
The overall condition of the hood is good as can be seen in the pictures. Extra buttons have been added but these could easily be removed.
A good original example!
