Punjab Medal 1848-49. Clasps Goojerat and Mooltan. (J. Reilly 1st Bn. 60th R.Rifles). An interesting medal awarded to J. Reilly of the 1st Battalion 60th Rifles Regiment. On muster roll dated 31st January 1849 there is three J. Reilly's recorded on muster roll. Needs further research as J. Reilly is recorded in the Punjab Casualty Roll as one invalided out on the 24th September 1850 and one died 12th August 1849. Then another Reilly survived the Punjab campaign. This medal deserves further research. Some wear on high points. (with copy Muster roll & Punjab casualty roll).
