Saw service in South Africa, Boar War Campaign seeing active service awarded clasps Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal and South Africa 1901. All mentioned clasps confirmed on medal roll. Private Peter Turner was born St Josephs in Preston, Lancashire. Details confirm that Private Peter Turner was later discharged on return from South Africa on the 21st May 1901.
