A rare 1914 dated WW1 Pith 'Wolseley' other ranks sun helmet to a named trooper (C.E. Clark 2352) of the Worcestershire Yeomanry.
The helmet is an original WW1 pith example. It is clearly stamped WD /crows foot/ 1914. Complete with leather sweatband and exterior puggaree. The helmet requires repair to the cork rim (broken at the rear) and all the cork is missing above the sweatband. The Worcester Yeomanry fought at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli. Cecil E. Clark ended the war in the Tank corps
