Ink name “Major C Alexander 2/1st H.C.Y” (Hampshire Yeomanry Cavalry) also a second name Graham Bugden. Complete with all early style open press studs etc. GC.
Major Charles J Alexander was commissioned into the Hampshire Yeomanry in 1901 and Captain 1905. He served during the Great War hand was awarded the Silver War badge, he was shown living on the Isle of White.
