WW 1 / Early 1920s white tropical service pith helmet . white cotton six panel crown ,pointed peak and square rear brim all with leather edging . White linen multi fold pagri band with dark blue top fold. Green cotton under brim and cream crown lining with tailors label . Brown leather and airtex sweatband . Some stains and minor wear .Still contained in its jappaned transit box . the lid with "Gieves " makers label . Paint named to " G.A.G Ormsby ". Old repair to lid .
