For sale is a WW1 The Kings Shropshire Light Infantry Regimental Postcard By Gale & Polden Ltd. This is in excellent condition and unposted.
This postcard holds the regimental emblem & insignia of The Kings Shropshire Light Infantry. The King's (Shropshire Light Infantry) is composed of the old 53rd and 85th Regiments of Foot, and has nearly 230 years of glorious history to its credit. In common with all Light Infantry regiments, it bears the badge of a bugle. Its motto, "Aucto Splendore Resurgo "" (I rise with increased splendour), is unique in the Army.
